God’s Promises for Girls

God's Promises for Girls

It had been one of those evenings.  And bedtime found me sitting on the bottom bunk with two very tired girls between me.  One who really needed to hear some verses about “when you need forgiveness.”  I wasn’t sure how much the words were penetrating, but I read them anyway.

God's Promises for Girls

The next day, she’d picked up the book for naptime.  Giggling at the pictures, she flipped through the pages.  And though she couldn’t read the words, I know she was remembering the verses I’d read her the previous night.
