Children’s Favorite Bible Stories

My girls are privileged to have lots of Bible storybooks at their disposal. But the illustrations by Natalie Carabetta in Children’s Favorite Bible Stories made it an immediate favorite.
Mary was captivated with the page picturing Isaiah’s vision. On our way through the pages to find it again to read it, we had to read about the chariot of fire. But Ruth wanted to hear about when God made people.
So after reading about how Adam and Eve, Isaiah, and Elijah, I was all set to show Daddy what we’d learned at lunch time.
“Can you tell Daddy what we read about this morning?”
“We read about Isaiah’s wedding!” Mary announced triumphantly.
At least she remembered Isaiah’s name, right?
Children’s Favorite Bible Stories is over 400 pages of illustrations and text. Each story has an introduction to set the stage or explain it in simpler terms before the actual text from the International Children’s Bible. Additional “Did You Know” or related verses are also included with each story. (Click here to preview the pages.)
