We will live in an Enchanted Cottage…
Tonight I saw the simplest, yet most touching movie: “The Enchanted Cottage.”
After reading about it on another blog, we ordered it on inter-library loan.
In 1945 black and white, Robert Young and Dorothy McGuire act out the most beautiful story of true love. An ugly girl and a disfigured man. But he sees a beautiful woman, and she sees a dashing man. Because they love each other.
“A man and woman in love have a gift of sight not granted to other people.”
And that is why my man and I will always live in an Enchanted Cottage…because we love each other.
