little one…
Dear Little One,
It’s so much fun to wake up in the morning to your somersaults in my tummy. I’d forgotten how active you little people are first thing in the morning. But it makes up for waking up early to feel your Morse Code “I Love You, Mom.”
Your big sister is so excited about you. She thinks my belly button is the peep hole into your world. Each morning and night she pulls up my shirt and snuggles against my tummy. She’ll often lay her cuddle rag over my tummy and then wave night night to you. Yesterday morning, she was trying hard to share her stuffed bunny with you, but was frustrated because you couldn’t hold it. And last night, she decided you needed a drink of milk, and attempted to drip drops from her bottle into my belly button!
I can’t wait to see her face on Monday when we get to see you via ultrasound. I wonder if she’ll understand that the picture is you?
Mommy’s looking forward to meeting you, little one.
Love,
Mommy
