Don’t kiss me–I’m an Irish Country girl!

Happy St. John Deere’s Day!

Yes, I know, the rest of the world celebrates St. Patrick’s Day. And as a good Irish girl (with plenty of Scotch, Dutch, English, and German as well), I’ve been wearing green all week. (Considering that it’s my favorite color and makes up half my wardrobe, that wasn’t too hard.)

But as I thought about this “Green Day,” the song “John Deere Green” kept running through my head.

And I decided that March 17th is really “John Deere Green Day” for a country girl like me.

So I painted my toenails green, and donning my denim skirt, green “John Deere Country Girl” t-shirt, and green bandana-print flip-flops, I’m off to work, where I will bid everyone Happy John Deere Day!

(And no one better try kissing me, because I’m a redheaded Irish Country girl!)
